What your buyers care about

Illustration: a Head of Legal at a 400-person fintech asks first “Will it follow our playbook?”, then “Is our data used for training?”. Playbook fit and data privacy weigh most; price and AI model specs least.

Illustration: sixteen product claims narrow to three truths — playbook matching, risk flags in minutes, no training on data — and then to one promise: “Review every contract against your own playbook.”

Illustration: a page outline. Above the fold, the first five seconds give the promise, action and trust; below it, how it works and proof; at the end, the demo call to action. Feature list, model specs and pricing tiers are left out.

Overheard

It usually starts in a meeting.

The signs don't usually show up in a design brief. They show up in conversations between founders, sales and marketing teams.

  • Account exec

Most discovery calls start with correcting what the website led buyers to expect.

  • Head of sales

Good-fit buyers rule themselves out because they think we’re built for a different kind of team.

  • Founder

When I explain the product in person, it clicks in a minute. Our homepage still doesn’t say it that way.

What’s really going on

Buyers arrive with the wrong picture, and the first call goes on correcting it. The site describes features before it explains the problem you solve.

  • Positioning
  • First impression
  • Product story
  • Head of growth

Paid traffic keeps climbing, but demo requests have barely moved in months.

  • CMO

Our ads make one promise, and the page they land on opens with something else.

  • Founder

The visitors we pay for look like our best customers. They just leave before asking for a demo.

What’s really going on

Attention isn’t the problem. Qualified visitors arrive looking for clarity and proof, and don’t find enough to take the next step.

  • Proof
  • Next step
  • Head of sales

Enterprise prospects keep asking whether we’re big enough to support them.

  • CEO

We’ve grown a lot since our seed round. Our site still looks like the company we were back then.

  • Co-founder

Our strongest proof lives in sales decks. Most buyers never see it before the first call.

What’s really going on

Larger buyers judge maturity before they judge the product. A brand that still reflects an earlier stage makes the company look riskier than it is.

  • Credibility
  • Brand maturity
  • Trust signals
  • Account exec

Our champion was ready to sign. Procurement couldn’t find the security answers they needed.

  • Head of sales

Security reviews keep stalling deals our product had already won on merit.

  • Co-founder

SSO, data residency and compliance questions get answered one email at a time, deal after deal.

What’s really going on

The champion was sold. The committee wasn’t. Some objections need contracts, but known answers shouldn’t live in email threads.

Services

From positioning to production, under one roof.

Three disciplines that usually live with three different suppliers. We bring them together, so the thinking behind your brand survives all the way into the browser.

Brand Identity

Your product has outgrown the brand you launched with. We start with positioning, then build an identity system around it: a mark, type, colour and tone your team can use with confidence.

What’s included

  • Positioning & narrative
  • Logo & visual identity
  • Type & colour system
  • Brand guidelines

Web Design

Buyers decide in seconds whether a complex product is for them. We work out what they need to believe, then design a site that makes it clear, credible and easy to act on.

Behind the design

  1. Lead with one clear payments proposition, not a long feature list.
  2. Make the journey from invoice to reconciliation easy to follow.
  3. Show the product itself, so the value feels tangible.

Behind the design

  1. Put the decisions performance staff make ahead of raw data volume.
  2. Translate complex athlete data into clear, actionable signals.
  3. Show the product in context, not as abstract feature claims.

About ATREO

Built around one simple idea.

A product is only as strong as the way it’s explained. Atreo is the studio I built to close the gap between what technical companies make and how the market understands it.

Founder-led means the person on the call is the person doing the work. I shape the thinking, design the system and build it myself, so what we agree on survives all the way into the browser.

Working from Europe · For companies worldwide

Different places. Same studio.

I like changing where I work, not how I work. From different places around Europe, I design and build for ambitious companies worldwide, with the same care on every project.

  1. 01 — The gap

    Great products, poorly told

Growth-stage tech companies build impressive products, then explain them with websites that undersell them.

  2. 02 — The studio

One studio for all of it

A founder-led studio bringing strategy, brand, web design and development together, so nothing gets lost between them.

  3. 03 — The focus

    B2B tech & AI startups

Products that take some explaining, for buyers who need to understand before they trust.

  4. 04 — The way we work

    Small, hands-on, close

You work with the person doing the work, not an account manager.

FAQs

Good questions. Straight answers.

Everything you might want to know about working with us, from the first conversation to launch and beyond.

Mostly growth-stage B2B technology companies: SaaS, AI, cybersecurity, fintech and similar businesses whose product takes some explaining. They usually have real traction, but a brand or website that no longer reflects where the company is today. If your product is complex and your buyers are careful, we’re likely a good fit.

No. Many projects start with a sense that something isn’t working rather than a finished brief. Defining the problem, priorities and scope is the first stage of every engagement. It helps to know your goals and rough timing, but the details can come later.

Pricing depends on the scope of the project.

Focused Sprints start at $3,000 for landing page design, $4,500 for development, or $7,500 for both.

Fixed Projects start at $8,000 for complete website design and development. Additional pages and more complex experiences are scoped individually.

Ongoing Partnerships are $4,000/month for continuous design and development support.

Brand identity starts at $3,000. Every project gets a clear proposal with its scope, deliverables and timeline before we begin.

Yes. If your brand still fits the business, we’ll work within it and extend it where the website needs more, such as layouts, components or visual details. If it’s holding you back, we’ll tell you, and we can decide together whether a refresh belongs in the scope.

Yes, as one connected process. Every project includes strategic messaging and content structure: what the site needs to say, to whom, and in what order. Full copywriting for every page is scoped separately when needed, or we can work from your team’s copy. Design and development are both handled by Atreo, so nothing gets lost in a handover.

You’ll work directly with Marto, Atreo’s founder, who leads strategy, design and development on every project. There’s no account manager in between. We can work alongside your marketing, product and engineering teams, joining your tools and review rhythm so decisions stay close to the people who know the product best.

A Focused Sprint usually takes one to two weeks. A Fixed Project typically runs four to eight weeks, depending on scope and how quickly feedback and content come together. An Ongoing Partnership works month to month. Before work starts, you’ll get a timeline with the key milestones.

The first call is a conversation, not a pitch. We’ll talk about your company, what prompted the project, your priorities and timing, and whether Atreo is the right fit. If it makes sense to continue, you’ll receive a proposal with scope, timeline and investment. If it doesn’t, we’ll say so.

What you own at the end, and how the handoff works, is set out in the agreement. Third-party fonts, platforms, plugins and other licensed assets remain subject to their own terms. Editing depends on the project: if your team needs to update pages, a CMS and editing setup are planned into the scope rather than assumed for every site.

Every project includes an agreed handoff and the post-launch support defined in the proposal. Beyond that, ongoing work is optional. Some teams take it from there; others continue with an Ongoing Partnership to keep improving the site and support new launches.

Start a conversation

Start with one sentence.

Most good projects begin with one honest line about what isn’t working. Write yours, or skip it. Either way, the call starts where your story gets stuck.
